2017 Entertainment and Community Groups

We provide a venue for local entertainers to showcase their talent, which adds to the fun, family-friendly atmosphere of our market. 

We also provide educational opportunities for citizens to ask questions and learn by offering booth space to city departments and the Gwinnett County Extension master gardeners.

June 3rd Opening Ceremony!

  • Kriss Johnson, a Snellville resident who is a former Ms. Senior Georgia, will sing the National Anthem at 8:30 am to kick off the 2017 market season.
  • Miniature Golf with Mark Nichols! All age levels and all skill levels welcome.
  • Gwinnett County Extension Service: master gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions.
  • Eastside Medical Center will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and distribute healthcare information

June 10:

  • Sheri and Bill Eppright return to the market this season, presenting classic rock, Americana, folk and their original tunes.

June 17:

  • Norwood, a singer/songwriter, will perform.
  • Gwinnett County Extension Service: master gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions.
  • Life South Community Blood Center will be at the market to accept blood donations. The donations they receive stay within our community.

June 24:

  • Ukulele Society of Decatur has always been a market favorite. We welcome them back for the 2017 season.
  • Chef Demo:  Wild Wings Cafe
  • Snellville Lions Club representatives will be at the market to talk about their community activities, eyeglasses recycling program and club membership.
July 1:
  •  Gwinnett County Extension Service: master gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions.

July 8:

  • Miniature Golf with Mark Nichols! All age levels and all skill levels welcome.
  • Eastside Medical Center will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and distribute healthcare information

July 15:

  • David Tyberg will entertain us with his tenor banjo, focusing on rock/pop favorites, jazz, some Broadway classics, as well as his own pop songwriting.
  • Brian Arrington, Snellville Public Information Officer, will be available to answer citizens' questions.
  • Gwinnett County Extension Service: master gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions.

July 22:
