These cabbage “steaks” are delicious yet calorie friendly.
1 head cabbage
Olive oil
Garlic salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Trim outer leaves off the head of cabbage and remove core. Cut into “steaks” about 1 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with garlic salt and freshly ground pepper. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until outer edges begin to brown.
