SNELLVILLE FARMERS’ MARKET
VENDOR APPLICATION
2025-2026 Extended Market Season
Snellville Farmers Market 2025 summer season vendors may apply to participate in the extended season markets, which will operate October 2025 through May 2026. The markets will be held on the FIRST AND THIRD SATURDAYS OF THE MONTH. Markets are 9:00 am to 12 noon in the Snellville City Hall parking lot. Dates for the markets are as follows: October 4 and 18, November 1 and 15, December 6 and 20, January 3 and 17, February 7 and 14, March 7 and 21, April 4 and 18, May 2 and 16, (considering adding 2 of the 3 potential dates 9th, 23rd & 30th).
Facts about the markets:
- Summer 2025 vendors will be given priority to participate. It will be necessary to limit the number of vendors due to space available in the parking lot. The maximum number we will be able to approve is approximately 35-40 per market.
- Vendors must participate in a minimum of 6 extended season markets.
- If it is necessary to limit the number of vendors approved for the extended season, priority will be determined based on several factors:
-
- Priority will be given to agricultural products.
- The number of extended season markets a vendor plans to attend.
- History of the vendor’s participation in our market, including “no-shows” at previous markets.
- Variety of products.
-
- Booth space for approved vendors will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at each market. Only those vendors who must bring a trailer and/or a generator to the market will be assigned to a specific parking lot location. Trailer space is limited. In most cases vendors will be able to park adjacent to or behind their booth space.
- The vendor area will be blocked off with cones between 8:45 am and noon to prevent vehicles from driving in the market area.
- Vendors must be prepared to begin sales at 9:00 am. Vendors who consistently arrive late may be disqualified from participation.
- No electricity is available in the parking lot area. Vendors may bring a generator. Vendors with generators may be assigned to a space due to generator noise and exhaust fumes.
- Vendors are to let us know of any changes in their plans for participation so our vendor lineup will be as accurate as possible in our newsletter and social media posts. Unless a last-minute emergency arises, notify us of changes in your plans by the Tuesday morning before the market by sending an email to snellvillefarmersmarket@gmail.com.
- All vendors must provide a certificate of liability insurance showing coverage for the Snellville Farmers Market, and any business/product related documentation that are not already on file or has expired since last submitted.
- The Snellville Farmers’ Market policies will adhere to the Georgia Department of Agriculture Guidelines for Food Products Sold at Events Sponsored by Non-Profit Organizations. For details regarding our market policies, click here.
